2019 - 2020 GRBL Week 5 & Playoff Information

Week 5 had a few equal time infractions.  This will not be allowed going forward so make sure your scorekeepers and clock operators understand their responsibility.  Also make sure they are using "X" to check players in, not "/" and that they are marking individual and running scores.  Here are the scoresheets from last week.

The tournament is going to be played on 2/15 and 2/22, all teams play on both dates.  A combination of pool play and seed games will be used to determine the bracket best suited for your team.  It may seem a bit complicated but the goal is for competitive games and for 50% of the teams to win their last game.

2/15 games are based on the final team standings through 2/8 and will be posted on 2/9.

2/22 games are based on 2/15 results and will be posted on 2/16.

34th - pool play on 2/15 will be used to determine bracket play on 2/22.  There are 3, 4 team brackets and 1, 3 team round robin pool for the lower 3 teams.  All teams will play 2 games on 2/22.

56th - 'seed games' will be played by teams of similar seeds to determine which bracket they belong.  This tournment consists of 2, 4 team brackets and 1, 5 teams.

Thanks to Lakeville and Bloomington for the gym space to have 54 games over the course of 2 weeks, looking forward to a great tournament.
