Age Level Information

Mites
Cost: $50
Grades: K-2 (grade 2 players first year softball experience)
Game day: Games will be played Wednesdays starting first week of May.
T-ball / coach pitch. Players are introduced to the basics of softball while playing all positions and batting in every inning. All Mites teams will participate in the season championship weekend playing one game.

Squirts:
Cost: $95
Grades: 2-4 (grade 2 players who have had previous softball experience)
Game day: Games will be played Tuesdays starting first week of May.
Player Pitched games, players continue to learn the basics of softball while playing all positions and batting every inning in a more competitive level of play. All Squirt teams will participate in the South Metro League Season Championship Tournament. 


Intermediates: 
Cost: $125
Grades: 5-7
Game day: Games will be played Thursdays starting beginning of May with double headers starting beginning of June. Players Pitch Players as they continue to refine their skills while learning multiple positions in the field.  Umpires are used to call all games. All Intermediate teams will participate in the South Metro League Mid-Season Tournament and the Season Championship Tournament. 

Seniors: 
Cost: $125
Grades: 8-12
Game day: Games will be played Mondays starting beginning of May with double headers starting beginning of June. Players Pitch Players as they continue to refine their skills and concentrate on 1 or 2 positions.  Umpires are used to call all games. All Senior teams will participate in the South Metro League Mid-Season Tournament and the Season Championship Tournament. 

Note:   Senior teams can be created on their own by the players if they choose to build a roster of 9 or more players.

Tournament Teams: 
Cost: $100
Levels: 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 19u
Description: Tournament teams are additional softball opportunities for those players who are looking for extended  tournament play at a competitve level of play against teams from out-side the south metro region including the midwest region of the U.S. These tournament team opportunities are in addition to each players regular BAC Girls Slowpitch Softball team and game/practice schedule. These are additonal travel tournaments that will be required of a tournament team player with additonal practice time. Level opprtunities will be offered to 12u, 14u, 16u (level is dertermined by age as of Dec. 31 of current registration year). A 10u and 19u offering will be available based on intertest and tournaments available. 

There will be a try-out for all players the April 16th to determine placement for each tournament team(s).  Players will be ranked by measured skills during try-outs and ranked accordingly for placement on each tournament teams roster. Team rosters are determined on a 12-player roster. 

Each player is required to play on their rostered BAC Girls Slowpitch Softball team during regular season schedule and tournament schedule. Tournament team opportunities are in additon to the regular season commitments.

* Need based financial Scholarships are available to qualifying families, District 191 reduced or free lunch letter is needed for application. The minimum $25.00 BAC fee is required during application.
